As a magician, and someone who deeply appreciates the pull and appeal of the mysterious, I completely understand the want to believe. Whether you believe that in a show you witnessed a display of superhuman abilities, or psychic phenomena, or a modern day Sherlock Holmes, all of this things are tempting for sure... but the real secrets go deeper. In the meantime, if you would like to choose that you experienced any of the above, and are against the idea that deception was an effective modality for entertainment, then... as you were. :-)
